ive been spending a bit more time on the different social networks, working on getting the word out and experimenting with the different applications, my very good friend mitch joel - twistimage.com has been key to this and to getting me to become more involved with my online life, through mitch i met julian smith and between the 2 of them i feel like ive got a better handle on what i should be doing out in webland . i have to say now that i am, im quite enjoying it. there are alot of questions to be answered, is all this connection a good thing for creativity, does it take away or is it just another form of expression, shouldnt i be writing a song right now instead of talking to ‘you all’?

but like all things in life we muddle through and do whats in front of us, and right now im liking the blog. i just added twitter to my facebook site and recorded a video right to facebook through their direct app that take over your laptop camera (pretty cool). ill use that to upload video from rehearsal

oh and ive been working on an online non profit idea, when i have the site up next few weeks ill send you all the link because it will need us all to help spread it.

ps i love shrimp..

Good question, as much as I appreciate the time you take to ’speak’ to everyone, (sometimes I wonder how you do it) it would be a real shame to lose focus and creativity. I suppose if you are able to keep it all balanced, then it should all work out well. I think it is great that you are having more fun with the blogging and such…
(shrimp is amazing… well, pretty much all shellfish is ;)

I find that my online life works as a great spout for my creative flow. Then again i started out basing everything around it back in the day. Staring to merge all this online stuff with what your normally used to can be tough, you seem to be doing great. I absolutely love the fact that your taking time out of your day to stay “connected” with all of us. You seem to be pretty comfortable with the whole “blogging” process, you have been doing it for a while in one way or another, so it’s probably just a fact of getting used to new sites and tools. It’s allot of fun. You are a very connected artist! and that’s great!

Oh…and i agree, shrimp….very good. Especially breaded shrimp! (i thought i had to make a shrimp comment, it seemed necessary…)

You’ve always had such tremendous respect for your fans, and I know that you value our feedback, so yes, it is beneficial for the end result for you to stay in touch this way. You can’t always be writing new songs, so let your creativity speak its mind when you have time, and we’ll continue to flood you with ideas and stay connected to your recording/songwriting processes.
