Just got home and checked my email first thing…thank you David!!! Can’t believe I got in…my cell phone doesn’t have texting, so I just checked the website about once a minute (seriously) until the contest was announced.
Cheryl, the email I received said I was “one of 10″.

Just shows how many would relish such an opportunity to be there.

I shudder to think what will happen in the future when, in the middle of the night in Vancouver, the soundcheck contest is announced, my cell phone runs out of steam (or worse, doesn’t vibrate under my pillow when it’s supposed to) and my computer dies a death before I can respond to a melodious tweet in the night. It would be a ghastly nightmare.

Is there a support group for sad wankers like me who can’t stop twittering?

whats happens to the people just like me who d’ont have cell phone??? hit my head on the wall.

I have everything set up for twitter, but apparently they have some issues, because didn’t work on my cellphone. I was very lucky to take a look on the website exactly when the message was posted. Like i read David’s mind So i sent an e-mail, and i won. Twitter doesn’t work on the phone. Only on Gtalk, but i don’t receive offline messages. And they have some issues with Explorer, too. But i use only Mozilla Firefox, where it’s ok. Sabrina, just come to the Phoenix concert, and you’ll forget that you didn’t win this one. I am too lost in the music….But it feels good.

but it just goes to show you, that you CAN still win these things without a cell phone (and all that twitter stuff). tho it does help to have a crappy office job where you sit in front of a computer all day, and nobody really cares about what you do, so you can spend as much time as you like on the blog and other random things… not that i do that all the time… no…

anyways, congratulations to all the other winners!! (i wonder who else won? i think only 4 of us replied to this post unless i can’t count, which is totally possible). i’m just glad that i won, so i didn’t have to resort to my second option which was the “COME OUTSIDE” sign & chant *LOLZ*

Miwa, try setting up your cell again today by hitting the re-do button on your settings page. It took me a couple of times, but it eventually worked. I think Twitter just had a backlog or some little kink to work out.

i LOVED hearing life of bees. ‘the wings they uncurl like the strangest of birds’ is so perfect live. and i love how quiet-push is still somehow so full of energy. i had to run right after the last song because i technically should not have left where i was in the first place, so i’ll say thank you here.

David, thank you so much for giving those who didn’t win with RW&CO a second chance to win. The acoustic show was really beautiful tonight and everyone was working great together. I also enjoyed hearing Life Of Bees and Push acoustic. Thank you for taking time with your fans afterwards too. I hope to go to your Toronto show in October. Take Care.

When are more tour dates going to be added?

David, thanks again SO much for giving us that second chance to attend the acoustic show. You guys sounded fantastic. Like morphinebaby said, Push was somehow still full of energy…was hard to sit still, sitting on the floor like that, while Push & Ugly were being played! Life of Bees sounded beautiful too.
My friend and I had such a great time.

last night was so very special. thank you so much to you and jonathan and kevin for the amazing performance (and stand-up comedy too!)

and just as you’ve been playing with kevin for ‘all of your adult life’ - i’ve been coming to moist shows and your solo shows for all of my adult life too and have to say that this was very special. there were too many highlights to mention, but in particular i loved the beauty in life of bees and really loved the acoustic push - kevin’s keyboards were especially incredible…

I echo everyone’s thanks for the opportunity to be there for this very special show! You guys definately have to take the whole acoustic/stand up show on the road!!! I was so blown away by the acoustic versions of the songs (esp. Push and Ugly) and the vocals really blew me away (esp. on Life of Bees). I love the whole “buzzing” effect you added in too!!!

I took some video and hope to upload it to Youtube asap!

thank you again david, for a fantastic evening!!!! life of bees was definitely the highlight for me. i love that song, it sounds wonderful live, and i definitely hope to hear it again on the upcoming tour. i may have been a little sceptical of an accoustic tour, but after seeing the show last night, i’m even more excited for the accoustic album & tour.

btw, i also haven’t laughed that much in a long time thanks to all 3 of you for being so damn funny!!!! *marionette face*
