It was a great night and you and the band were awesome as usual, we enjoyed it immensely. I was glad to hear some other stuff from the new album, life of bees and some people say are great although I love spotlight on and science as well, ok, damn it, the whole album, you’re a genious. Again, the band looked like they were having fun and everyone seems to mesh together. Was worried the weather might have turned but the moon came out, it was super. I heard some people say (where have I heard that) when we were walking out of the park that this was the first time they saw you and the band and they had no idea it would be that much energy and alive, the atmosphere and that the music was so dynamic and wonderfully different. They discovered what many others have known for quite a while. We were right behind Shannon and it was great to have her and her enthusiasm right there, just added to it all.
Oh it sounds like it was wonderful fun last night!! Apparently my location is a geographical oddity. We seem to be two hours from everywhere! Even considered tix for the pheonix show… what’s with all these mid week shows??? (London ON + weekend + DU Show = Me (and others I am sure) very very happy)
I enjoyed the pictures people have been posting of the show last night - CAN’T wait to see some video!! Have a good and safe flight!
Hi David,
last nights show in St. Catherines was sooooooooooooo fun!!! the band sounded great!! was really excited to hear life of bees and some people say again!! i can’t wait to see what other tricks you guys have up your sleeves! (sccccccccience anyone??!!!).

Laura
ps) can’t wait to see some video!!
Hey David!
Yé Some People Say and Life of Bees! I can’t wait to hear them live. It sounds like last night’s concert was totally awesome, which makes me even more excited for your concert. Yééé!
I can’t wait to see you in concert in Winnipeg. So-o-o-o-o very excited!! I’ve been talking about your upcoming concert for weeks and I still have to wait a couple of weeks, lol!
And I can’t wait to see some video of the show.
XOXOXOX
Nat
Hi guys
Once again a totally AWSOME show! Unbelievable! The energy level was off the scale! Although at one point I seriously thought David had over done it and hurt his back (hunched over for a while, probably just catching his breath). It is so nice to see John up at the front looking totally comfortable there. Big change since the show at Brock U at the beginning of the year when he was hidding under his hat.
Which I had the time and money to travel around the country and see every show. Just can’t get enough.
Have a great tour. Last night was a great start.
Joce XOXO
I really couldnt ask for anything more than good wine, great friends and incredible music!!! The show was fantastic and the new additions to the set were the icing on the cake! I cant wait to see how the setlist evolves!
Eeeeshh… when you say you are putting up video from the show, would you be referring to the video of you filming the audience from the stage?!? I’ve gotta say, I’m a bit scared to see that! LOL!
Michael - did we chat right before the set? If so, it was nice to meet you (and jocelyn and dana…) David has the best fans!
Yes Shannon, It was Michael and I chatting with you just before the set. It was nice meeting you too. I’m sure we’ll run into you again being the dedicated fans that we are.

amazing amazing. My daughter and I couldnt get enough.. It was her first time to see David Usher live. Now shes a fan forever.. She commented that David sure has alot of girl fans lol
Yes, but I can scream louder than most girls, and have been known to faint like a Jane Austen-reading heroine at the drop of a hat.
Bingo graeme!
so glad to hear the show went well!
and so excited that the next stop is the commodore!!
Hey David,
From an old rocker; great show last night in St. Catharines. The band was excellent. As a fan, I admire your talent and energy to work the crowd. You should aim for a weekend night next year so you can see that St. Catharines does know how to rock! Next year, $&#* Kitchener and come to St. Catharines for the weekend.
Strange Birds is a great CD. It is tough to pick because all the songs are great. Ugly Is Beautiful is my favourites, The Music and Brilliant are both also exceptional.
I wish you great continued success and more visits to St. Catharines.
Rick
wow. i think that just made me more looking forward to oct 5th in vancouver…
cos we really did look forward to being part of the process too….
and david, if you see this, what’s up with the soundcheck contest you guys are putting up with the 95.3crave radio station? It seems that none of the active participants of this blog/forum has heard of it or won this contest. Not fair
m
amazing show.
“we love you Jon!!” (that was me for most of the show, severely annoying everyone around). just fantastic - and Jon rocked out loud!!
looking forward to markham!
have you change all the show? or just change some songs..?
anyway, whatever you can do will be great!
good luck with your new shows!! im excited to see what it will be !
I heard “Some People Say” on Chum.fm in Toronto today and it made me smile huge.
oh god ! my aunt and i heard “Love will save the Day” and it was very funny cause we were in stores, and when we prepared to leave, we heard this song. So, we decided to walk all the stores while singing and dancing.
There were not many people because they were on the point of closing, but we were like crazy people !
