thanks to everyone that came out last night! we had a great time, a bit freewheeling with all the new songs. i have to say it was amazing to see everyone singing the words to everyday things considering it was the first time we have ever played the song live.

heres a video of what you looked from where i was standing… (posted at www.davidusher.com )

Got my ‘dose’ last night! That was the best concert ever…amazing performance, amazing music, amazing crowd. Nothing pleases more than seeing such passion in the music, in peforming as last night :) David, you were manifique, so were the guys. I love the ’signature dance’ ..Being 5 feet away from the stage was absolutely perrrrfect, not too close no too far, and seeing David’s expression …phew.. I wish i could turn back time and attend again!
The choice of songs was perfect, I was sooo pleasantly surprised by “Tomorrow comes” being in there! I am not saying any more, you guys have yourself surprised when your concert comes up, but certainly lots to look forward to!
I can post some pics and send a link if you guys want…

From eurogal_yvr — October 6, 2007 @ 12:35 pm

Oh btw, Everyday things - SOO happy you included it!
You’re the one that gives me hope…”" one - couldn’t be a better choice for the last song of the evening! (Even though turned out it was not the last one after all!:))
Thanks for making my day.. I mean week..I mean month..

HAHA! I started cracking up in disbelief while watching this. Especially after I saw Emily with her shirt! Em, you’re a recognizable fan now because of that shirt….YouTube famous….you got that right! LOL. And David, this video (and the other recent ones) are one of the very reasons you ROCK! (besides your kick ass live performances). This vid made my day :D

From kill-joyce — October 6, 2007 @ 3:52 pm

I was totally there and I have a soar throat to prove it! David that was the best concert I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a lot) and when you took my camera I apologize for looking like a fool because I was in such disbelief that you actually did that haha! Thanks for your music :)

From bijoux — October 6, 2007 @ 4:28 pm

great show last night!! left excited and impressed, like always :)

From daniebagel — October 6, 2007 @ 4:30 pm

The show last night was awesome! Having a lot of the old stuff played was great, especially “Tomorrow Comes”. Its definitely one of my favorites from “Hallucinations.”

I’m also really digging “Everyday Things”. Sounds great!

My not-quite-legal friends want you to come back soon! And I’ll be back for a third time to see you live.

~D

From stucha — October 6, 2007 @ 8:19 pm

David, meeting you at soundcheck was a real pleasure, and of course seeing you and the band rock out at the evening’s performance was fantastic! For a guy who claimed he “needed to get some sleep”, you and the boys sure seemed to be givin’ ‘er on stage! awesome energy! So glad you all felt brave enough to play ‘Everyday Things’, it turned out great.

Have fun on the road! if you guys pull off a show like that for each stop, the country is in for a treat!

cheers,
stu

From Dustin.Sparks — October 6, 2007 @ 9:32 pm

:P that’s me with the black and red NewYork hat. I loved the show! I got to shake your hand at the end and that was just plain awesome. First time seeing you live even though I’ve been a fan for years. I’ll be there next time for sure. Great way to start the tour off! Thanks for such a great show.

Dustin

i understood half of the shirt thing.. he said” its Jesus and…” and didn’t be able to understand everything,, sorry, someone can explain to me?? thanx! ;) The crowd was on fire, its cool to see the view of the singer, of the ppl on stage, its weird and stressfull in the same time! ;) haha

From emilyanfield/viciouswithoutlove — October 7, 2007 @ 3:47 am

Glad to see westerners appreciate you, of course everyone in Canada should for pete’s sakes. I just rediscovered, if you will, your song Everything Is All Right By Me Now. Listened to it loud on our new awesome stereo system and just wish it was longer like how you guys did it at the Grape & Wine show, which was freakin super!

From moistndamp — October 11, 2007 @ 1:23 am

wow, the energy of the crowd is really amazing. great..great..thanks so much for sharing the abbreviated view. i feel somehow ive been given the prerogative.
also wish i were one among them. :)
