Yesterday, saturday the 20th, I was having a terrible day. At 7:50pm, as I was walking past the Metropolis of Montreal, I read “DAVID USHER 20 Octobre 20h00″. Three minutes later, with my ticket in hand, I was waiting for the show to begin.

Now i’m exausted, my neck hurts and i’m almost unable to talk and yet, i’m smiling. It was so worth it. My annoying saturday night became the best night ever. So much love, so much good music. Montreal is proud to have such a talented artist among its citizens.

Thanks a lot, sir, for this great experience.

PS. I’ll remember about those french lessons you talked about for the next time. Cause there will definitively be a next time.

Great show! So much fun and a great combination of old material and new. I think it would be interesting if you posted your set list the day after each show. I’d love to see how the set lists change in each city…or do they? The band was tight (except for Kevin’s mishap, but we all have our moments ) and you all sounded great. What a great way to come home. Welcome back.

Hehe, nothing happened to Kevin. On the contrary, he was on fire last night! The poster was referring to a moment at the beginning of “Tomorrow Comes” when there were some technical difficulties and David said that he blames Kevin for them whether it’s his fault or not. Kevin didn’t appreciate it

I’m so glad everyone is having such a blast at the shows, and that David is having so much fun performing! I agree with Virginia though, we Vancouver Islanders missed out this tour!!!! Sounds like the set lists are awesome- not that there could ever be a bad one from David and the guys. I also agree with one of the other comments about doing a live cd- it would be FABULOUS. I hope you get to play at the Grey Cup, 2008 in Montreal, as we are going and having you and the band play at one of the event nights would make going to Montreal for the big game utterly over the top. I sent a message to the Alouettes office who are running the events so I hope things can be worked out. It would be awesome if this could happen.

I just want to say something about the concert experience in Montreal. I know it’s not the forum here but i can’t log myself right now so i will say it here.

Could we stop about that ”too short show in Montreal” It looks like it taking a ”fu…” too big fulness. I know that i said that the show was to short. I feel cheap now.

My niece. Her first show too, never said that. She just enjoyed her night and told me that it was the best night of her life. The words always come out of kids mouth.

So let’s leave the guys and David alone about that. They are doing their best.

I feel bether now. It’s bad to keep the anger inside.
