I was there at the 'unofficial' opener in st. catharines, and then again at the closer in markham. it was a long time to wait in between, but i'm not complaining. i wish you every health and happiness, and I do thank you for showing me the best time of my life. surrounded by friends and family, I had a blast at each of the shows I attended. for everything, thank-you. the tour was great. The other thing though is the fact that I never got to see the tour at all. Living in a country located halfway around the world has been the unfortunate cause of me not being to see David play live. I am hopeful though that I would be able to see one of his shows soon. Of course however, I am indeed very happy to be able to actually listen to David's beautiful music even though it was not from a live performance. I consider myself very lucky to have found David's music in the airwaves and of course in the internet. I am really happy for you David for the very successful tour and album. Yes, I might be sad that the tour has already ended but the thing is as David would always say in his interviews that "in every ending there is a new beginning". I was in Toronto for the Grey Cup and festivities this past weekend and just thought how you would have been great doing a concert as part of the festivities. Really hoping that at next year's Grey Cup in Montreal, even if you're not into football the Grey Cup is a celebration of Canada and Canadiana culture, you are part of it. At the Great Big Sea/Spirt of the West concert, there was a mix of football fans dressed in their jerseys and others there who weren't into football and the mix created a fantastic atmosphere that I haven't experienced before. I hope this can happen in Montreal. You guys and maybe Stabilo, that would be utterly awesome. Thanks for touring, we appreciate it a lot.
