Broadcasting live sessions, that’ll be cool. :)
Have fun tomorrow…will see you in T.O. on the 14th! (bright and early…not sure yet how I’m going to manage that…will have to go to sleep at, like, 7:00 p.m. the night before!).

hi david!
ipod sounds cool and fun : ) cool stuff with the new video player…
we have a small hill (actually it looks like it but not close) just across our house by the playground… it’s interesting everytime winter starts kids gather around to slide…it’s fun, i should try it too : D

Live sessions would be great!!!

I am looking so forward to Tremblant! I plan to partake in my favorite part of skiing… sitting by the fireplace afterwards drinking a coffee with a shot in it! :)

Good luck in your “showdown”! lol! Is that kinda like a dance off?!?!

From telo santos — December 7, 2007 @ 5:19 pm

yah….it sounded like a break dance showdown!

From emilyanfield/viciouswithoutlove — December 7, 2007 @ 5:37 pm

ipod showdown haha
i am so intrigued !

love the new video player
love anything that keeps me in the ‘now’ with you

From Amanda — December 7, 2007 @ 8:34 pm

HA.. I laughed so hard when I shut the tv player off it said turn me on… but I just turned you off tv…just imagine if your actual tv said that when you shut it off…. how many people would listen to it? Don’t we already watch enough tv that we don’t need them telling us to turn them on? but.. I listened to it… I turned it back on. It was too funny. I am also extremely tired and anything would amuse me right now. I wish my light switches had voices and sensors so that my boyfriend would shut them off when he walked out of the room. He would suck at hide and seak… I just have follow the trail of lights. Wow this is random…
but maybe it would be a good idea if the player didn’t start automatically… I would rather be able to click turn me on when I want to watch rather than the off when I want to read or do something else.
I think it is bedtime…

From Cheryl — December 8, 2007 @ 9:35 am

Diggin the new player…but I agree with Amanda, I’d like it better if it didn’t start automatically (mostly because I’m on the site a LOT during work hours LOL)

Any chance you can add White Christmas to your Podcast???? :D

From Nath. — December 8, 2007 @ 11:26 am

I love your idea of video player. It’s like watching tv on the computer.
You are always at the ”fine pointe” of the technology. Bravo.

Have fun tonight for the show.

From robyn — December 8, 2007 @ 11:36 am

Wish we still had snow in my bit of Ontario.
Love the new player. Great idea, it’s fab.

From Dark_Angel — December 8, 2007 @ 9:14 pm

I liked how last time around you had put clips on youtube of you guys performing your then new songs… Life Of Bees and Stay. That was a cool way to show us your progress on the record. Now with a live feed… unbelievable! I don’t think I’ve seen any other artist yet that allows us to see live feeds of rehearsals or at the studio. We’re all grateful for that! You’re very brave! :D

From shannon — December 9, 2007 @ 9:39 pm

Cheryl - did you see that White Xmas is up on David’s Facebook Musician page?

Cool this video TV thingy! Super.
Listening to a combo of Moist and all your stuff on the wknd, just great mix of music.

Snow and the hill does sound like a good combo for some reason but I can’t put my finger on why. It’s a Monday morning, don’t have my thinking cap screwed on quite right yet. :)

Hi Kristine

What’s in T.O. on the 14th? A friend mentioned that David was doing some breakfast thing somewhere. Is that what you are talking about and if so can you tell me the details?

Thanks
Joce

wow poor David, its really early !

From Michael — December 11, 2007 @ 11:14 am

Some espresso or one of those high-octane energy drinks should do the trick!

From Laura — December 11, 2007 @ 11:50 am

hahaha, poor david??? poor ME!!!! you are forgetting that david is very much a morning person!!!

i, on the other hand, am not!!! its going to be a rough morning, that’s for sure. i should just pump the caffeine directly into my veins!!!

anyways, just kidding david! it will be fun :) i can’t wait! (plus david and SANTA??? it doesn’t get much better than that!!! hehehe)

From jocelyne — December 11, 2007 @ 12:33 pm

Thanks for the info Shannon. That is really early. Will it be taped and on TV cause I don’t think that I can get up and drive to TO that early and then drive back to go to work.

From Laura — December 11, 2007 @ 12:49 pm

From Sabrina aka Angelinfire — December 11, 2007 @ 3:11 pm

Laura… im sure its gonna be a hard morning,,, but a so good wake up no ? hihihih Lucky you ! and by the way,, nice to met you at Mont-Tremblant!! ;)

From Cheryl — December 11, 2007 @ 3:13 pm

Laura…maybe it’s better to not go to bed? I’m trying to figure out my best plan of attack LOL

From shannon — December 11, 2007 @ 3:24 pm

I would SO go for that no sleeping thing if I didnt have to give a presentation that afternoon! Besides, I tend to get a bit dumb when i dont sleep!! :P

David is a morning person but I’m sure it’s not the most fun time to sing!

Regardless, I am looking so forward to it! Hope we’ll get to hear a few songs at least!

From Kristine — December 11, 2007 @ 7:42 pm

Thanks Shannon, for answering Jocelyne’s question.
Sorry Jocelyne, right now is my first time back on here since I wrote that!

From jocelyne — December 12, 2007 @ 12:23 pm

No problem Kristine.

Thanks Laura, I guess I’ll be tuning in to Chum on Friday.

Hey David,

Just thought I’d point it out, the video feature is cool. However, for slower connections like mine, it kinda causes a lag. Is their any way to default the video player to the “off” position, so that we can turn it on when we want to see it?

Its not much of a problem considering most people use cable or DSL these days, but it seems the University connection I have cant handle the contents of the site and the video at the same time. The vid kinda dominates the site, so I can watch the video fine, its just the rest of the site slows down.
