well i finally got back to montreal after the longest snow travel day, the last trip of the year and of course it went on and on. im pretty much a professional traveler so i know the only way to deal is to relax and be where you are.
i feel for you if your still at an airport, i saw lots of people that are not getting out of there for a few more days.

Oh ! This is always appreciate to come home. But when you have to break out the shovel, it’s another thing ! Haha
I hope you will relax enough
glad to hear that you made it home!
Yes, glad to hear you made it home safely.
You know, I just can’t picture you shoveling snow. I know you’re a regular person and everything but…you just seem too cool to be shoveling snow!
kristine, too cool to shovel snow? What the heck? You do know that David puts his pants on like the rest of us joe’s out there, not to mention does the rest of daily activities much the same way I assume. lol
Yeah I know! And in case anyone thinks so, I certainly didn’t mean to imply that HE thought he was too cool to do something like that…he seems very normal and down-to-earth. Maybe it’s just me and the way I have him up on a pedestal in my head, and that’s why I can’t picture him doing certain joe-shmoe things.
Okay, I’ll shut up now…between here and the forum, I seem to be very misunderstood lately!
all that snow is getting me sick of winter! oh wait, its not winter yet!

glad you make it home safely! xo
A cab driver was telling me that so much snow ddnt happen in montreal for 40 years… who said that last winters were not that bad for the snow!?! Oh what a liar!!
Just taking the bus was terrible so i rather not imagine being stuck in airports! And for your shovel, well we know what to get you for christmas now
Hope that all that travel worth it for something.
Happy to know your back safely.
Kristine. I may think like you, i just can’t imagine David shovel. He may think like everyone of us who are shoveling. F* snow, i hate to shovel, grrr. Well i am like that but, i enjoy it. A good way to enjoy the pré-winter. Listen at St-Lawrence river talking about winter. It makes me always smile.
And Kristine, i wrote some stuff here, very stupid but, i don’t care anymore. Don’t deprive yourself for that
hi david,
just got home last night from a family cruise vacation in cabo san lucas…it was great of course, cali weather is perfect and people are even complaining..i guess i’m in the right place heheh..but we had to shovel the driveway because the snow accumulated for the week we were gone…oh well, let it snow let it snow let it snow…
kristine, hey, I’m just pulling your chains a wee bit.
I do the same thing, put people up on pedestals like entertainment stars and athletes but certainly not the best thing to do as we know they are all human like the rest of us and may not have any better values than the rest of us, in some cases far more destructive values. What you say isn’t stupid at all, it’s human nature in some respects for people to do this I think.
I apologize if I offended you in any respect, one of my habits is saying something first, thinking second.
I mean’t to add, one of my bad habits that is.
Thanks Nath.!
That’s okay Michael…sometimes even when I’ve thought very carefully about what I want to write, once it’s out there and I’ve re-read it I’m like “Hmm…yes, I can see how that could be misinterpreted”!
Glad you’re back safe
wow micheal… i really love your thinking.
Thanks Sabrina. I think we can all agree that David, being a humanist as I understand, and showing that he care’s about people so much with help raising money for kids as an example. I know myself, as someone born and raised in a traditional Catholic upbringing, once I started reading I started to appreciate all regilions and alternative views of thinking as long as caring and respect and love for our fellow human beings and nature was at the core of the thinking. And humanism has a lot of wonderful ideas to add to this. Religions sometimes hide behind doctrines that sometimes don’t make sense to everyone but I have found myself that it is important as humans to take responsibility for our actions and actually do things for the betterment of people as in the end, I don’t think we can rely on some God figure “up there” or wherever to help make the world a better place. We have the power within us to be god-like (we are all part of divinity I think) and make the world a better place for everyone and nature. Ok, enough, I rant on. This is why I really like songs like Love Will Save the Day.
I’m absolutely right with you Michael.
And we don’t have to make big things to change the world. Just doing our part and in that way it will maybe make a better world. Since i really discover David. He made me think about all that. I was feeling cheap because i didn’t made something big for the world and then i realize that even littles things can make a better world. I always wanted to thanks David for that. Maybe he will read me. Who knoes?
I may not explain it well, but that’ s the only words who comes out of my mind. I repeat the word world too much time.
Yes nath (you explain it perfectly), hey, we’re not all David Ushers with his talent and very outgoing personality and such, it would be nice though. But the little things, as you say, are so important. Like saying hello to someone who looks lonely in the mall, maybe an older person, as you wait in line. Just something simple like this can have a real positive impact on someone’s life. And I think David would agree with this.
Welcome back to Montreal David. Now it’s time to relax and enjoy Christmas with your wife and Coco. There must be a kid in your neighborhood who want to shovel your place for money. So don’t break the shovel yet! Im sending you lot of hugs and hapiness. Have a wonderful 2008 year!
lol @ “today i break out the shovel!” XD
glad you have a happy relax time.
merry x-mas and happy new year david. ^^
David, here’s a link to some info on safely shoveling snow. Of course, if you’re like me, you just rush out and go crazy and then regret not doing it right in the first place and end up with a sore back the next day.
