Hello David,

First, I want to say that I very much like reading you and that I love your music.

It is very strange…I think that you’re my favorite artist (all categories) and it seems that we have many interests in common, besides your music.

[I have worked as a programmer in digital image processing for a few years, but now I work in intellectual property (patents) and I consider myself as an artist the rest of the time (mainly photography and painting).]

I have watched the video of the game and it seems very well done.

I will follow this blog and hopefully will be able to post some interesting comments from time to time.

My husband showed me that video not too long ago, technology and physics is his life. He’s always showing me all the latest technology, and talks about how the universe has yet to even scratch the surface on what we are capable of doing with technology and physics.

what is so impressive to me is how much your mind seems to always work on overdrive and how you are continually stretching yourself into new and interesting realms. i can’t get over how well you’ve intersected all of your interests in this way, and how you’ve revealed yourself to be more than just a singer/songwriter.

i hope more people will take notice of your ever-changing connections to the different areas of thought you’ll be touching on, and especially how this new blog is hopefully going to expand what it means to be an artist in this day and age.

i know i’ll definitely learn something from this and i look forward to it! thanks for giving us a new way to think about things

I agree with you Amy. David, you continue to weave the fabric of your life into ours in such an interesting way. I believe that we all have certain things we think about on occasion, but you have given us a forum to discuss. I really love your music and now I know why. It’s because you give me a voice…and you say in your lyrics what goes through my mind…only you go a little further and guide us to think a little deeper than just ourselves. I know other artists can do that as well, but you tie the lyrics with such beautiful melodies that it evokes a feeling of being on a train destined for God knows where. The choice is ours, but we’ve bought the ticket and can now take the journey with you. We can disembark whenever we like or go the distance. We don’t know when our journey will be finished or how far we can go as a society before we run out of gas (Literally). One thing’s for sure, there must be drastic change around the bend, as technology and it’s advancement is inevitable. We must use the emotional combined with the intellectual to solve the problems that have arisen from this advancement. Again, the human element:-) XO
