summer touring!
now that is music to my ears

it’s 5 am, and what i was originally thinking about was the pain in my throat and how it was time to take my anti bioitics haha
but now i am thinking of the tour coming up
and mapping out in my head where i should road trip to this time!

I was just thinking about how this will be another long (ie, boring) day at work.
But NOW I’m thinking…
a) That it’s crazy how you’re always up so early
b) I’m super excited, thinking about a summer tour! :)

I’m thinking about coffee! I’m hoping that I’ll be in Montreal when you perform there. Hoping that you won’t be in Saskatoon when I’m in Montreal. Ohhh the logistics X Please say you will do something in Montreal in Early- mid July. No later than the 18th! I’m also thinking about all the crazy driving I have to do with my kids and their activities. Could we fit more into May! Yikes!

From mspiazza — May 15, 2008 @ 1:53 pm

I’m thinking: what even remotely sane person is awake and thinking so early in the morning? I’m not human before noon… but I’m quite glad that you are ;) Also, I’m thinking about artists’ retreats and whether or not a month of solitude in the woods would help creativity, or drive me slowly out of my mind… and that you should do at least one US tour date this time (preferably in Los Angeles)

From mspiazza — May 15, 2008 @ 2:24 pm

Okay, it’s before noon (here) and I’m officially awake! Now, what I’m thinking is: California has overturned the state’s ban on gay marriage!

If anyone’s interested, I’ve just posted an excerpt (amazing) from the ruling on my blog: http://drawingpicturesofbirds.wordpress.com/

the thought of a summer tour has pushed any other thought far from my mind….but im pretty sure that my original thought was that i was excited for my orientation for my new job.

I have to say that I definitely understand the need to take time for yourself when finishing something as tiring as making a record. I know for myself that it takes at least 2 weeks to recover from the stress of exams and deadlines at the end of the school year, at which point I enjoy the mornings to myself to do nothing but enjoy life!

Thanks for keeping us in the loop when it comes to the new record.

Well, afternoon now, sipping on a coffee at work, waiting to go home. A boring day here. But glad to see you have finished the record. And just noticed you’ll be playing in Toronto May 24 so we will be there I’m sure as my wife will demand it! And me too, of course but my other half is more demanding, as usual, in a good way though!

Morning, sweet morning. Hey! it sounds like a song title..anyway. My heart is divided about morning. I hate to ear the wake up call but love to see sunrise. Hate knocking my little toe on a %&$”!* chair but enjoy the smell of the coffee. It’s so cold out of my bed in the early morning but the smile of my sons keeps me warm…
Romantic moment.
Touring,sweet touring….Hey! it sounds like a touring title!!!lol

From Michael — May 16, 2008 @ 9:07 am

As expected, when my wife got home from work yesterday, I told her you guys were playing in Toronto next weekend and showed her the Green Toronto Festival brochure and yes, we are going she says, er, demand! ;)

But seriously, looking forward to it and the theme of this festival fits in with what we are trying to do more of like recycle, take the car less, use less electricity etc.

From telo santos — May 16, 2008 @ 1:42 pm

i am not thinking about work today…because i took thursday and friday off - meaning i have an extra long weekend…actually i’m in ohio at my aunt’s house for a little get together…it felt weird when her lab licked my face this morning…i am not used to having a pet

have fun at the mesh conference and we hope to hear how it went….these new technologies are amazing and we must take charge and use them wisely

From NicoleG — May 16, 2008 @ 10:51 pm
