We had an amazing time at the show last night. It was the first time on stage for awhile and it was great to be with you guys again. We played And So We Run with the whole band for the first time and it went pretty well. it always take a few shows for songs to settle and find their own life in the show. If you were at the show and have any good photos, make sure you upload them to the site. (You guys took all the photos on this site:)

We leaving the hotel at soon and headed to Medicine Hat to play at the Esplanade Arts and Heritage Centre.

I don’t think it’s possible to make good pictures of you guys, all the shots looks ravishing usually

I’m pretty sad that Edmonton isn’t on the hit list…but totally stoked about the new album!!!

That was such a fantastic show last night.

The crowd and the atmosphere were perfect, David and the band were on fire. I really liked the new stuff too. Kill the Lights was amazing live.

Thanks again for signing my cd David. I’m very quiet in person so I wasn’t really able to articulate how thankful and amazed I was.

Looking at a busy weekend I didn’t know if I was going to have time to attend your performance in Medicine Hat. A friend basically gave me no choice. I am glad she insisted it was the best show I have been too in ages. The up close and personal moments made the whole experience. The music was lovely too.

Fantastic show in Medicine Hat last night David!! I loved the personal, intimate and funny tone of the evening, not to mention an incredible stage presence and the fact you sound just as great live as on your albums. I’ve grown up loving your music and finally hearing it live was well worth the wait! Thank you for sharing your music with us and providing a truly personal, Canadian performance. Please come back soon…

Just saw the show last night in Medicine Hat, was sitting in the front row. I thought that it was absolutely amazing. I was dissapointed that your cd’s weren’t there however. Either way, it was a great show, good job.

Wow, what an amazing show! I was absolutely impressed with your presence. We left the theater with goosebumps!!

Caught the show in Medicine Hat it was amazing!!! My husband commented how wonderful you sound live, that it was as good as a track from your cds. We do not get much good talent in Medicine Hat so thanks for coming to the Hat and showing this city how a true preformer works there magic. That was a night I will never forget.

If I only I knew you’d be at the Calgary airport today…I could of come and bought you a coffee :)

The problem with going to a show of David’s is that it’s hard to go to other shows where the lead singer just stands there and sings and doesn’t do anything else. I wonder why you don’t get more air time in this country David, you are right up there with the very best of them and deserve it, my wife and me keep saying this! Maybe some jealousy I think towards you. I don’t know. I listen to digital music channels like the Canadian adult alternative where a lot of your music should be and I don’t hear it except some Moist stuff, which is great but you have other great stuff which I think is alternative.

@Michael

I agree with you that David doesn’t get enough air time in Canada. I have a better chance of hearing a Moist song on the radio than a David Usher song, however, I also believe that us as fans need to do our part and request his music as much as possible. As fans it is easy for us to play our ipod whenever we feel like listening to David, therefore, it can also be difficult to remember to request his songs on the radio. Even though I own every album of his and I can listen to them as much as I like, I still bombard the radio stations here in Calgary as much as possible with David Usher requests. Actually, I request him so much that I now receive emails from the radio dj’s giving me the heads up on David Usher concerts. In April 2007 David was in Calgary for a show and at 8am he was live on one of the radio stations here and they told him how I email them letters about why David Usher is the best artist and they asked if he would give me a call…so my phone at work rings and it was actually David on the other end….sounds crazy I know, but it actually happened…I think it was the highlight of my whole year :)

so..to those of you that do request David’s music to be played on your local radio stations..keep up the good work, and for those that don’t….maybe start? :)

cheers!!
