what is it about creativity. at the end of the video shoot i was so tired i really was saying to myself, in my head “thats it, im so done with this” fatigue is a strange beast, it can really mess with your mind.
and this morning i wrote a new song and everything is better. creativity always comes and saves me. thank you

I hope you never decide that you are ’so done with this’ I hope when you are 80 years old that you are still writing, recording and performing songs!!! We wouldn’t want all that talent to go to waste!!!
You can never stop?
of course, when David is 80, the shows will probably be all acoustic?
Oh David, you where meant for this life of creation. Sinatra sang until is last breath, so will you I’m sure.
@ Bryan…..that’s so true…lol
I just wanted to add that when I read the line “thats it, im so done with this” my heart almost broke in 2 again. The first time it broke was when I got the very last Moist Fanclub newsletter from Nettwerk…I couldn’t fathom the fact that my favorite band was no longer together…but then David came out with his solo stuff and all was good again
i’m sure there’s FAR too many brilliant ideas floating around in that head of yours for you to trully ever be done
we appreciate how much of yourself you put into your music, and the effort shines through in the songs.
the end of david usher, and it’s the end of the world for some of us i’m sure, ha.
Love the countdown to the release! though my own personal countdown will be to the next live show!!!
Fatigue is only temporary if you love what you do…which i’m sure you definitely do. Lucky you =)
david, for me i think creativity is an escape from reality….i hope you agree with me on that one
it’s a state where we can be ourselves…become free, fly and reach the stars…..
telo
LOVE the new count down!
You are as cute as pie, take care of yourself,we love you and your beautiful energy.
I completely agree. I’m a teacher and just finished for the summer. I was completely exhausted. Then took a break on Hornby Island and came back and starting thinking about next year’s students. When you love what you do, sometimes a break is all that’s needed to renew your spirit again. I hope you get a good break David.I’m sure you need it. Peace and love.
