LOL! A pinata? That just seems wrong! Seems like a fun party though!
We were inspired and had some drunken song title charades last weekend and it turns out, your song titles are not easy to act out!! Esp. Mutations… right, Amy?
Haha, too cute. I love that he sent you pics and you posted them here!
Was reading yesterday about how all the guests, who weren’t necessarily that familiar with David & his music, actually had a great time at the David Usher party…that’s the best part!
i know, it just seems wrong..i just thought it was like it (piñata by the looks of it)
wonder what’s inside the box…details please :))))
pics 4, 5, 7 are my faves…
cactus, hmmm, the power to quench a dying thirst as it protects itself from preditors with it’s sharp pointed prickles, having the ability to stand tall in the light of the hot sun, contained within it the moisture of salvation
i love you
i live in Edmonton! WHY wasn’t i invited to this party!?
The pictures are nice! Thanks for sharing
hahaha oh ya I remember my friend kelly threw this birthday party for me one year out on this farm, bought a keg of beer and invited the whole town, and it was all david usher themed! She printed pics off the internet and put them on the walls and made a banner and signed a birthday card from david with his picture on it. Ya five years ago, and she kept playing david usher music mixxed between rap cds that ended up getting broken or stolen.lol it was awesome!
LOL these pics gave me a good laugh for the day. I like that idea, cactus pinata with your picture on it. I wouldn’t want to hit it if it were in front of me LOL
I would definitely have to make a trip back east if I was lucky enough to score an invite!!! That would be such a blast. What could be better than meeting/partying with David!!! xx Andrea
They capture most of the activities and particularities of the night: the decorations, the wall of david and friends, the pinata busting, cardboard david’s shenanigans, the lyrics drinking game, and some of the 30 varieties of stickers and magnets that came in the lootbags and that fell out the pinata (creating the david usher stickers was wicked fun).
seriously, this idea is becoming better and better! glad to hear you’re on board david! hahaha…awesome.
yes, we had some fun/awkward times trying to figure out how to act out song titles while attempting to play david usher-themed charades…totally out of the blue one night. ‘mutations’ proved particularly difficult. haha! i somehow tried to integrate spasms into my enactment of that song…didn’t quite work
wow so creative! a david usher theme party. why haven’t i come up with this idea yet. Anyways the party looked so fun, i especially liked the person sized david and the trivia.
ciao

The answer to that question is A) Political Science!!
David, you personally should have a “David Usher party”!
only the biggest DU fans and your close personal friends are allowed to attend.
You could perform acoustic songs inbetween drinking games!
sounds pretty vain doesn’t it? but it would be one hell of a great time
Im in:)

it’s amazing to see so many people inspired by our DU party. It was completely off the hook!!
We also posted about 60 or so photos from the party on the Official David Usher Facebook Group page -

I would SO host that party! What a way to celebrate the cd release!
You had me at drinking games
p.s. you guys need to market some of those stickers! I SO need a “travelled a million miles for a david usher show” one
